After consultation with the municipality of Ameland, we are pleased to tell you that we will be open again from 2 May, but in accordance with a number of rules. Below we like to explain what the possibilities are at the moment.
What can you contact us for?
- Lessons to children from 6 years to 12 years and youth from 13 years to 18 years in our outdoor box
- Ponies going on for children under the guidance of their parents/carers
- Private outdoor rides for advanced riders up to the age of 18. Please note: You have to be able to tailor your braces yourself, even if you are already on the horse
- Unfortunately, it is not yet allowed to take an outdoor ride with people from the same family in one group
- Unfortunately, it is not yet allowed to take an outdoor ride with adults (18+)
How do we proceed?
- First things first: Stay at home in case of symptoms such as colds or fever!
- We only work by appointment. If you want to drive, call 06-12914654
- You can find us at Camminghastraat 13 in Ballum
- Keep 1.5m away from our staff and any other customers. Wait quietly until it's your turn, everyone gets helped
- Unfortunately, for parents it is not allowed to stay on our property during the lesson/outdoor ride
- Pay by pin. Cash payment remains possible but is not our preference
- Wash your hands before you come to us and even when you get home
- Bring as much your own riding gear as possible and change before you come to us. We still have caps on loan, but our preference is to use your own cap (or bike helmet for ponies going on)
- It is not possible to go to the toilet with us, so do so in advance
- Entering our stables is not allowed. We put the horses on and off, we bring the horse out and help you get out
- Ponies going on: We help your child quit. Then we attach a long rope to the halter of the pony, after which you can attach a long rope to the halter of the pony. Then we loosen our rope again and you can go for a walk with your child and the pony. On our return, we will proceed on the same principle.
- We disinfect all saddles and reins (and any loan caps) after use
